Gothic Lace Candle Holders
Create beautiful, moody lighting with these simple gothic lace candle holders. Purchase several plain glass cylinder vases or Mason jars from the dollar store, along with a roll of wide black lace ribbon or a cheap pair of black lace tights. Cut the lace to fit tightly around the exterior of the glass jars, securing the edges with a thin line of hot glue or fabric glue. If using lace tights, simply cut sections of the legs and slip them over the jars like a sleeve.
Tie a piece of black twine or satin ribbon around the neck of the jar to finish the look. When you place a lit candle inside, the flame glows through the intricate patterns of the black lace, casting gorgeous, delicate shadows across the room.
