15. Haunted Mirror Gallery Wall
Turn an empty bedroom wall into a portal to another dimension with a haunted mirror gallery wall. By grouping together various small, ornate frames painted in uniform dark tones, you can create a cohesive, vintage aesthetic. Instead of standard glass, these frames will hold distressed, aged mirrors that reflect light beautifully while maintaining a spooky, antique atmosphere.
Collect a variety of mismatched plastic and wooden frames from thrift stores. Spray paint them all in matte black, dark bronze, or pewter, then lightly sand the edges to reveal a hint of the original color beneath. Replace the frame glass with inexpensive acrylic mirror sheets. To age the mirrors, spray them with a mixture of vinegar and water, then scrape away small sections of the reflective backing. Hang them close together in an asymmetrical cluster to create a striking, moody gallery wall.
