Turn simple toilet paper rolls or paper towel tubes into clever, pocket-sized coffin treat boxes. This is a fantastic party craft or a unique way to hand out special treats to close friends and neighbors, combining recycling with functional, spooky packaging.
Press a cardboard tube flat, then crease the outer edges to create a hexagonal coffin shape. Paint the exterior of the tube in dark gothic colors like plum, charcoal, or deep crimson. Once dry, seal one end of the tube by folding it inward and securing it with tape or hot glue. Fill the open end with small wrapped candies or Halloween stickers. Fold the top opening closed and tie it with a rustic piece of orange twine, adding a small hand-written tag that reads “Open if you dare!”
