14. Milk Jug Skeleton Garlands
Give plastic milk jugs a second life by transforming them into a quirky, dangling skeleton garland. This craft is a fantastic way to teach kids about anatomy while practicing advanced scissor skills, resulting in a large-scale decoration that can withstand the outdoor autumn weather.
Thoroughly wash several translucent plastic milk jugs and draw basic bone shapes—such as skulls, ribs, arm bones, and leg bones—on the flat sides using a black permanent marker. Carefully cut out the plastic shapes. Use a small hole punch to make holes at the joints of each bone, and connect them using metal brads or white twist-ties to make the skeleton limbs posable.
