Haunted Well of Souls
Craft a mysterious, ancient wishing well that serves as a portal for lost souls. Build the well structure using stacked foam blocks painted to look like old, mossy stones, or wrap a large round plastic tub in faux-stone textured wallpaper. Construct a rustic wooden roof structure over the well using distressed pallet wood, complete with a rusted pulley and rope hanging down into the depths.
Place a blue and purple LED spotlight inside the well pointing upward, and connect a fog machine to slowly release mist from the opening. Hang lightweight, semi-transparent fabric ghosts or plastic skulls from the pulley rope, making them look as though they are being pulled up from the watery depths. This unique prop adds a fantasy-adventure vibe to your Halloween yard display.
