17. Creepy Crawly Insect Wall Art
Make your walls look as though they are crawling with life in a highly stylized, artistic way. Use a 3D paper cutting template to cut out dozens of spiders, centipedes, or beetles from heavy black cardstock. Gently fold the legs and bodies of the paper insects upward to give them a realistic, three-dimensional shape. Using removable poster putty or double-sided tape, mount them to your wall in a swirling, organic pattern, making it look as though a swarm is emerging from a heating vent, fireplace, or behind a picture frame.
