11. Spooky Silhouette Window Shades
Turn your home into a shadow play theater for the entire neighborhood to enjoy. Measure your windows and cut large sheets of black poster board or heavy cardstock to fit the panes. Sketch out classic, eerie silhouettes such as creeping spiders, reaching tree branches, flying bats, or a witch stirring a bubbling cauldron. Carefully cut out the designs using a utility knife. Tape these black silhouettes directly to your window glass. Behind them, hang cheap orange, purple, or green plastic tablecloths or tissue paper.
