Rock Skull Painting
Rock painting is an incredibly relaxing and creative activity for kids. On your next outdoor adventure, search for smooth, flat, oval-shaped stones. Wash them thoroughly and let them dry in the sun. Paint the entire surface of the stones with a coat of white or light grey paint. Once dry, use a black paint pen or fine brush to draw the hollow eye sockets, nasal cavity, and stitched mouth of a skull. Kids can get creative by adding colorful floral patterns around the eyes, inspired by traditional Day of the Dead designs, making each skull a unique piece of miniature art.
