Spooky Paper Plate Spider Webs

1
Transforming a simple household item into a spooky masterpiece is one of the joys of holiday crafting. Paper plate spider webs are perfect for little hands to develop their fine motor skills while creating a classic Halloween decoration. To start, cut out the center of a paper plate, leaving a sturdy outer ring. Punch holes around the inner edge of the ring. Give your child a blunt yarn needle threaded with bright orange, deep purple, or classic black yarn. They can thread the yarn across the plate in a random pattern, watching as a complex web begins to take shape before their eyes. Add a couple of plastic spiders or craft some out of black pom-poms and chenille stems to complete this delightfully creepy project.
