6. The Ice Castle Rink

This one’s pure drama. I built a small ice castle at one end of the rink — packed ice walls, calcite towers, a big arched entrance — and the rink itself runs right up to the castle doors. It looks like something out of a fairy tale, especially at night when the lanterns inside the castle make the ice walls glow. A frozen fountain sits out front, with red wool leading from the entrance to the ice. It’s the most photographed spot in my world, and I don’t even mind.
