5. The Warming Hut
Every rink needs a warming hut, and I mean needs. Mine is a small spruce cabin right next to the ice with a fireplace, a couple of armchairs, and a brewing stand for hot drinks. A rack holds skates — item frames with leather boots — and a chest full of cookies. The roof is steep so the snow slides off, and the windows are big so you can watch the rink while you warm up.
