6. A Frozen Lake Observatory
Build on the ice itself. I picked a frozen lake, cleared a circle in the middle, and put a low glass dome right on the ice with a snow brick ring around it. The dome reflects in the ice, which looks incredible at sunset, and at night the lanterns inside make it glow like a lantern sitting on the water. A little wooden dock with fences and lanterns leads out to it, so the walk feels like an event.
