3. The Underground Star Chamber

This one’s for people who like surprises. From the surface, all you see is a small stone hut with a door. Go down the stairs, though, and it opens into a round room with a glass ceiling that looks straight up at the sky. I lined the walls with deep slate and put glowstone behind tinted glass so the whole room has this dim green shimmer. A lectern in the middle holds a book where I jot down what the sky looked like each night — nerdy, but it’s become my favourite ritual.
