2. A Campfire Nook That Feels Illegal
Lava and ice sitting side by side is the weirdest, best thing about these caves. I built a tiny nook with a campfire, a couple of logs to sit on, and a calcite back wall. Keep the fire small and fenced in with stone — you do not want a stray spark near anything flammable stored nearby. It’s my favourite spot to wait out a Frostbite wandering past outside. Warm feet, cold air, glowing crystals overhead. Honestly? Worth the whole move underground.
