11. A Small Dock on an Underground Frozen Lake
Not every ice cave has a frozen lake, but when you find one, build the dock. I used spruce planks, a few fences, and a lantern on a post, and it turned a random water patch into the prettiest spot in my base. The ice creaks — well, it makes those new ambient sounds when it’s over water and surrounded by ice — and at night it’s genuinely eerie. Don’t build your storage here. Build your “sit and stare” spot here. Every base needs one, even if it does nothing useful.
