5. Mountain Fog Shrine Station

5

Perched high on a misty cliffside, the Mountain Fog Shrine Station combines spiritual tranquility with rural transit. This build utilizes dark prismarine, stone bricks, and spruce wood to withstand the rugged elements of high-altitude biomes. The highlight of this station is a prominent vermilion Torii gate that spans the entry to the train platform, signaling to travelers that they are entering sacred ground. Fog-like atmospheres can be enhanced by building near cloud level or strategically hiding campfires beneath grey stained glass to produce rising plumes of smoke.

To emphasize its secluded nature, connect the station platform to a winding mountain staircase made of mossy stone bricks and cobble. Add small, scattered stone shrines (Hokora) along the platform edge, decorated with red banners and wither skeleton skulls or gold blocks. The train line itself can emerge directly out of a mountain tunnel framed by carved stone bricks and hanging vines. This design is perfect for connecting your main base to remote mountain outposts, enchanting setups, or alpine spruce villages.
