20. The Coastal Cliffside Brick Watchtower Loft
Perched high above crashing waves on a seaside cliff, the Coastal Cliffside Brick Watchtower Loft blends rugged industrial defense architecture with cozy cliffside living. Built using a heavy mix of granite, stone brick, and wind-weathered red brick blocks, the loft incorporates large cantilevered glass balconies anchored by diagonal iron support struts extending out over the ocean below. The interior layout is semi-open, with wind-deflecting brick partition walls dividing the kitchen, sleeping, and living areas. High windows are fitted with iron bars and clear glass panes to withstand coastal storm aesthetic. A roaring stone-and-brick fireplace forms the warmth core of the home, flanked by comfortable navy wool sofas, spruce wood tables, and maritime decorations like spyglasses, compasses, and framed nautical charts.
