Gather a collection of mini plastic cogs, tiny metal washers, spare watch hands, copper wire, and small watch gears. Glue these mechanical elements directly onto the paper roll, arranging them along the “spine” and around the eye sockets of your cat silhouette.
To give the feline an authentic antique look, apply a metallic bronze or antique brass acrylic paint over the entire assembly. Once dry, brush on a tiny bit of teal or patina green paint in the crevices to simulate oxidized copper. Craft two sharp, geometric ears from corrugated cardboard, exposing the ribbed interior for an extra industrial edge. Tiny brass rivets glued along the seams complete the look.
