13. Grim Reaper Silhouette Window Projections
Turn your home into a neighborhood attraction by creating striking window silhouettes that look like sinister figures are lurking inside. Cut large shapes of the Grim Reaper, ghosts, or Victorian witches out of heavy black poster board or cardboard. Tape these silhouettes directly to your window panes. Cover the entire window behind the silhouette with a thin, white bedsheet or translucent shower curtain. Place a bright spotlight or a colored LED floodlight (such as deep purple or toxic green) behind the sheet, pointing outward. From the street, your house will project a stark, terrifying shadow play that looks incredibly professional and cinematic.
