The exterior of the castle keeps the traditional cold aesthetic with ice, snow, and basalt, but as you approach the main courtyard, the ice begins to melt into glowing magmatic veins. Use nether bricks, crimson stems, and weeping vines to build half of the castle, while the other half remains pure ice and quartz. The central feature is a massive open Nether portal built into a shattered ice spike, with lava falls and water falls running down parallel towers, contained by magic barriers.
This stark elemental contrast creates an intense visual energy. The warm reds, oranges, and deep purples of the Nether blocks pop violently against the surrounding white snow and pale blue ice.
