15. Baby’s First Pumpkin Painting (No-Mess)
Introduce your newborn to the sensory joy of painting without any of the clean-up hassle with this ingenious, mess-free painting activity. Place a small, real white pumpkin inside a large, clear Ziploc slider bag. Squeeze a few drops of child-safe, non-toxic acrylic paint in orange, yellow, and gold inside the bag, directly onto and around the pumpkin. Seal the bag securely, ensuring all air is pressed out. Lay the bag on the floor or a flat surface and let your baby pat, squish, and slide their hands over the outside of the bag. They will love watching the colors blend and spread across the pumpkin. Once they are finished, carefully remove the beautifully marbled pumpkin and let it dry.
