10. Clay Impression Witch Hat
Capture the exact, delicate three-dimensional details of your newborn’s hand or foot with a custom air-dry clay impression. Roll out a smooth, even piece of non-toxic air-dry clay to about half an inch of thickness. Use a cookie cutter or a craft knife to cut the clay into the shape of a classic, pointed witch’s hat. Gently press your baby’s foot or hand into the center of the clay shape, ensuring you capture every tiny crease and toe. Use a toothpick to write their name and the year at the bottom, and make a small hole at the top for hanging. Once the clay has air-dried completely over 24 to 48 hours, you can paint the hat black and the impression a contrasting metallic gold or silver.
