19. The Starlit Celestial Observatory Tree
Introduction
Built into the crown of the tallest tree in the forest, an open-air starlight observatory equipped with telescopes and star charts for fairy astrologers.
What This Idea Means
It connects fairycore magic with cosmic wonder, celebrating starlight, constellations, and the vast mysteries of the night sky.
How to Make It
- Grow or build an impossibly tall custom oak tree extending far above the surrounding forest canopy.
- Build an open circular viewing platform at the very top using dark prismarine and deepslate tiles.
- Install a brass telescope using end rods, spyglasses, and iron bars pointing toward the sky.
- Hang glowing end rods around the platform to mimic captured stars.
Materials Needed
- Stripped Oak Logs and Dark Prismarine
- Deepslate Tiles and Slabs
- Spyglasses, End Rods, and Iron Bars
- Oak Leaves
Tips and Variations
- Tip: Build this on a high mountain peak to get the absolute highest build limit advantage for stargazing.
- Variation: Build a moon-shrine platform with a crescent moon sculpture carved from quartz blocks.
